I'm a UK expat, currently in Australia and have linked my UK bank card (RBS) to my Paypal account as well as my Australian cards (NAB -savings and credit cards). I have no problems receiving and transferring money to and from my Australian accounts, but Paypal willnot allow me or recognise my UK bank account even though the visa debit card is linked. Any ideas why and if it can be sorted?
Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.
You can sometimes use another countries card as long as the billing address matches your paypal address.
