When I link my bank account using the correct IBAN, it links a CHECKING account ending in four numbers that do not match my CURRENT account. Is PayPal linking someone else’s checking account to my PayPal? I am afraid to try withdraw money from my PayPal account to this account because I am pretty sure it is not my account. I’ve tried multiple times and the same thing keeps happening
Your only option would be to remove and re-add it, even if you phoned customer services i think they can only confirm the last 4 numbers as for security they are not shown the complete number.
Or you can do a test withdrawal of a very low amount to check.
Have you confirmed the bank account with the 4 digit code? If so then its unlikely not to be yours.
