JPMC RE PAYPAL INTL Ltd - direct debit

Hey there!! I received notification from my bank today saying there has been a direct debit set up for JPMC RE PAYPAL INTL Ltd. Who is this???? I have cancelled it with my bank. Who are they and how can I contact them to say I've cancelled the direct debit? How can they set it up without me even knowing? Thank you in advance for your help. Muggles77

Presumably you have recently added your bank account to pay sellers via paypal?

Well you won't be able to now as you cancelled the direct debit.

When you add a bank account to paypal it sets up the direct debit mandate so that paypal can take authorised payments for any purchases you make (or pay your Ebay fees).
No company eg water/electric can take funds from your bank account on a regular basis without that direct debit.
However the amount shown is always the ''last'' transaction / amount that you paid to a seller via paypal.
As you have now cancelled the direct debit you will have to pay your sellers via a debit or credit card instead.
