I sent money to a friend. It turns out that friend only has venmo. I read an article last year that paypal was going to make it easy for venmo customers to accept paypal payments from friends, and vice versa (should have been implemented last July, according to this article).
We can't figure out how my friend can accept the money. He does not want to sign up for paypal and I do not want venmo. Has anyone made this work?
Did PayPal actually go through with the plan to make this easy for people? I really don't want both apps. It is a huge pain in the butt. This is a recurring problem for people.
