I tried to link my bank account and when I got my deposits there were four of them instead of two. i used the most recent two like it was suggested in some other forums and it didnt work, and my account was automatically unlinked. i waited a week and have tried to link the account again so i can hopefully get it right and it wont let me link it. i get the "bad instrument" message on my phone and a "try again later" one on desktop. Can i just no longer link this bank account to my paypal at all?  Is there a way i can fix this? i receive a lot of my money for my art through paypal, so i need to get it to my bank account somehow.

Contact customer services and they will link it for you BUT as you can't do it the automatic way they may request that you upload a bank statement first.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

OR
have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
