I had some problems when I linked my bank account and I had to try more than once to get that code. So they took 1.95$ more than once. After I created the account they didn't give my money back.
The deposit/code you successfully used would be refunded 'up to' 30 days post confirmation of your card, then it would take however long your card issuer takes to process that refund on to your card.
Any un-used codes would time out at 30 days post sending (country dependent as some are longer) and go back to your card issuer.
