Why I can't sell my cryptocurrency? Every time I try, this message appears: " There's a problem. Right now, we are not able to complete this transaction. Please try again later." How do I solve this? This is my first time selling. I've put all my info and nothing. Please help.

According to the person I talked to at the end a day After I couldn’t sell sell my crypto and loss 1500 is cause it takes time to verify your account. First time I call them I got transfer to a “specialist” who told me everything was fine and it was a technical issue, and told me I would get a call in the next couple hours. After 20 hours I try and I was able to sell and rake the loss

Ah ! So it took 20 hours , But the crypto value changed so much in 20 hours ! I feel trapped when I couldn’t sell , I hope it’ll be fixed soon

This just happen to me, by the time they resolve the issue I had already loss $1500. Is there a way we can all join get a lawsuit against PayPal

I’m in the same boat. I will be drafting a complaint and handing it to a lawyer that will then send it to their legal team. There needs to be a lawsuit! Keep me in the loop, as I made this decision today.

Same error message here. I bought $15k of Ethereum and Paypal doesn't allow me to sell out of it.

Made several calls to customer service. They claim they are working on this technical issue. But days have past and I still can't exit my position.

I am a bit concerned at this point. I just want to get my money back and never deal with this poorly run company again.

Can't sell mine either. I only had $100 of bitcoin just to test the water. After awhile I bought a couple hundred ETH and some others. Was pleased when after a couple months my 500 had tuned into 1100.. Was about to put down a considerable amount nut I thought I would sample the sell process. I press sell. "You want to sell all?" "Yes." "Review and Sell" page comes up with no "sell" button. Drag it dowwn. "You want to sell all?" "Yes." REVIEW....REPEAT. What gives. Celeste from cuatomer service said it was because of security measures for my own protection and that I should try again later. "I want off this ride daddy! These clowns are giving me the creeps!"

I was able to sell my entire position about 2 weeks after I posted this comment.

I think their AI algo flagged me because I had made several transfers into Paypal from my bank and my debit card in order to fund this crypto trade.

In order to 'calm down' their AI algo I refrained from logging in to Paypal for several days. Too many logins and sell attempts will throw their algo into lockdown mode. This is a sad state of affairs but it is what you have to deal with as a Paypal customer. Rest assured I took my money out and will never be buying Crypto through Paypal again. I do it elsewhere now.
