How to transfer funds from UAE paypal account to Indian bank?

Hello everyone, 

Years ago when I setup my paypal account I was residing in the UAE and hence had setup the paypal account as a UAE account. 

But now I am residing in India and no longer have a residency in the UAE. I have funds in my paypal that I would like to transfer to my Indian bank account. 

As I understand it you cannot link an Indian bank account to a UAE paypal account. So how do I go about transferring funds from my UAE paypal account to my Indian bank account.

Hi @AnonAnon,

Thank you for your post. If you are now residing in India, an account should be registered in India using a different email address. You can add all your Indian credentials to the new account. You should be able to transfer the funds from your old account to the new account, and then you can close the old account and add the old account's email address to the new account.
