How to see if "requested funds" is for goods and services OR friends and family.

Paying an invoice and I am not sure if they sent it as friends and family or for goods and services. I want to have buyer protection. Not sure how to tell.

Paying a PayPal invoice (formal invoice) is goods and services payment. Same with PayPal money requests (informal invoice) so there is purchase protection for your payment.
