I am in a nightmare situation with payPal who claims I owe them $5000. They keep telling me to contact the credit card company to resolve the problem. I have done this 4 times. Each time I am told the same thing - I do not owe PayPal a penny. Apparently the accounting department does not know what they are doing and so Chase sent me a letter (That they had sent to PayPal in September) to resubmit to their accounting department so they can stop hounding me. I am spending literally hours a day dealing with PayPal through messaging and am getting nowhere. I sent them a taped recording I had with Chase as well as my bank statement proving everything I need to prove. Customer service keeps disregarding the facts and insisting I give them $5000. I need to go beyond customer service. HELP!!
