How do I withdraw money to my bank if it doesn't accept 'instant transfers'?

I'm wanting to withdraw money from my paypal balance to my local bank account. The card it currently wants me to send it to (the one I originally had attached to my PayPal account) is out of date and the cards I've subsequently tried to add won't work.

When I try to add new cards, Paypal says they don't support 'instant transfer' and won't let me proceed. That's ok, I don't mind if it doesn't transfer instantly but I do need to transfer to my bank account! Has anyone had this issue?

The odd thing is that the out of date card that PayPal will let me send the money too is the same account as the new card I've been trying to add... so why it's saying a different thing I don't know!

Paypal is 'country specific' so advice often depends on what country you are in. As you have not added your country to your community profile or said in your post then we can't help at the moment.

You can't withdraw funds to a 'card' in the UK, you can only withdraw to a linked bank account (not debit card).
