How do I release funds to seller

My seller wants me to release funds to him now the item is being deliver tomorrow my question is can I do this and still be protected on how would I do this

If its the 'new seller hold' then funds are released when tracking shows the item delivered to you + 1 day OR on 21 days.

The fact its pending on the sellers side and completed on yours (if it is) then it has nothing to do with you as the hold is between the seller and Paypal.
