Just recent had a family member send me money via pay-pal for an urgent car repair. I rarely use PayPal & have had this family member send me money before. This time the money sent was placed on a 21 day hold... meanwhile there is no reason for this hold on my account & have never had this issue before. Any tips on how I can get the hold taken off? It’s $300 dollars so not a HUGE amount to hold.

If its showing a 21 day hold then she must have sent the funds using the goods / services option and NOT the friends / family option.

The only way to get a 21 day held funds released earlier is if you supply a tracking number showing delivery of goods, but as there are no goods involved then you may have to wait 21 days.
