I recently sold an item the money was put on hold I shipped posted tracking and it was delivered. It's been over 24hrs and the money hasn't been released

Funds are normally released when any tracking number viewable online shows as delivered to the buyer + 1 day as long as you used one of Paypals supported carriers.

If that has all been complied with correctly then contact c.s. and ask them to release the funds manually for you.

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is also randomly available.
Also you have the option to send customer services a message.

Having same problem. I have started my eBay account for selling and sold,shipped 10 items. The first two on hold, 3&4 are released and 5 is on hold.I sold items with free postage thinking once sold I,get % of money to cover this... Thing is I am a single starving dad who lives way out west Nsw and live week to week as such Had to Travel 160km round trip to post office and use my food money to pay postage and fuel to make sure items got to my buyers. Tracking info is enter on all but no releases for 1/2&5 and is another 10-14 days before released... I understand people can be shifty so all I ask is a % of funds release to cover said postage n travel to post office. $125 isn’t much to some but to my son and I that’s half our food shop for the 2 weeks... I started eBay selling to help ease pressures but now I am under more pressure than I have been for a good time.
