Is the payment showing on your pending balance? If so, it may have been sent as a payment for goods and services. This is usually held if you have limited payment history on your account or if PayPal sees higher than normal risk.
If that is the case, the sender of the payment can follow these steps to help you get the funds sooner.
- Go to Activity.
- Find and click the original payment for the item.
- Click Confirm receipt.
- Click Yes to confirm that you received the order.
*Please note that the sender of the payment has to do the confirmation, not you. Also, kindly advise them to do it on a desktop or mobile browser. This option is not available on the mobile app.
