Trying to receive my money, but every time I put in my PayPal debit card it says they can't identify me. What do 8 need to do

To receive money from PayPal account to PayPal account, you do not put in your PayPal debit card. Or am I missing some part of the story? Are you trying to access money at an ATM? Did you just received your PayPal debit card and is trying to activate it?

My son sent me some money and I'm trying to put it on my debit card. I tried calling customer service but get the run around. I put in my card info to link the accounts but keep getting the message that they don't recognize me.
