I have set up my bank account to receive money to. When I want to transfer my balance from paypal to me I am asked to add an account? And do they have an online chat facility?

Are you withdrawing to a linked BANK ACCOUNT or a DEBIT CARD?

If its a debit card then you can't withdraw to a card in the UK.

You need to actually add a bank account setting up the direct debit as well which allows you to add funds to your balance or pay sellers from your bank account that way if you wish to.

If you have added a bank account then have you confirmed it with the 4 digit code AND is the name of the bank account in exactly the same name as your paypal account?
