First Purchase

I just created my PayPal account. The purchase request was sent to my yahoo email, when I click on PAY and open the PayPal login I use my gmail email and password. I am receiving an (ERROR, TRY AGAIN). Is this because the request went to yahoo ?

The email address you log into your paypal account with identifies that paypal account.

So if you use an email address that is NOT linked to your paypal account it won't work.
