Did paypal take $20.20 out of my checking account last time I transferred money to my account?

I transferred some money from my checking account into paypal.

And saw there was a $20.20 fee taken from my account each time.

I asked the bank and they said they didn't take it.

 They said paypal took it.

Is this going to happen every time I transfer money into my paypal account?

 Thanks

 Craig

There is not supposed to be a fee to add money to PayPal balance with a bank account. Never heard of such a fee or why they are taking it. Though it is odd that the amount happens to be "$20.20" as in the year 2020.

Message customer service for an explanation:

Click "Help" at the top, then click "Message Center" near search bar.

Its not necessary to add money first to pay with PayPal, just select your payment method/funding source during PayPal checkout.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
