Depop

Hi, I am selling things on Depop and someone asked to transact directly through PayPal. I said OK. They have sent me the money which is on hold, but are asking me to send the stuff to a different address to the one on their PayPal account. Do I have any seller protection if I send the stuff to the other address? Or shall I send it to the address on PayPal instead?

Are the funds actually showing in your paypal account balance but on hold or not showing at all?

If showing then for seller protection you must send trackable to the paypal registered address of the buyer at the time of payment.

If they wanted to use another address they should have added it as a gift address and then selected it during the payment process.
