Country problem

Hi, I’m Spanish, have a Spanish bank account, but I’m living in Hungary, I have tried linking my Spanish bank account to my PayPal that I’ve created here in Hungary and it tells me I need to connect my PayPal to a “forint” bank account. Does that mean I won’t be able to connect my Spanish bank account just cause I created my PayPal in Hungary? I’m so confused and annoyed. Can anyone help me out?

Paypal is country specific so you have to open a paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.
