Hello,
I live in Brazil and pay all my bills in R$ (Reais, Brazilian money), but I work for a person in another country who pays me in dollar through Paypal.
Everytime I receive the money, a part of it is taken. Ok. But then, a lot more is taken when I transfer this money to my Brazilian Bank account, because of the conversion fee of Paypal, which is highly unfavorable for me.
Is there any way I can avoid it? If I start using a card linked to Paypal to pay things in Brazil, will this conversion fee apply, or perhaps the credit card company will be the one to impose the conversion fee?
Please help, my money turns to ashes everytime 😞
