Confirming debit card

About 2 days ago I confirmed my debit card by paying 1 pound. And on my bank it should show a code to confirm it, it's on my pending transactions labled as "VISA Debit transaction" and I'm waiting for it to come through. Should I be worried if it's taking this long, and how long does it ussaly take.?
