Closed account while credit card is linked inside

Can someone please help me, I had a personal account I created and I linked a credit card inside, then I closed my account while card is still linked inside, how do I get it unlinked, and please can someone tell me if my credit card is safe or no? Will paypal do anything or take anything from credit cards linked to closed accounts?

Only customer services can remove a card from a closed account for you.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
