Cannot remove old bank account

Having the same issue that is reported here:

This should not be marked as SOLVED because it clearly isnt.

 

Paypal customer service is dire. Emails are met with automated responses that do not address my issue. Phone calls just lead to automated responses. In fact the automated service even hanged up on me saying it could not hear my SHOUTED responses.

Only the person that starts a thread can mark a post on that thread as solved.

So if the person that started that thread felt that the answer they got solved the issue for them then they can mark it as such.

If you can't remove a bank account then check here as this is a common reason that there are issues ie linked to a scheduled payment.

 

Check if you had a subscription set up...


Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments''.
