Cannot add Revolut (VISA) to PayPal Account - 'Wrong Billing Address' - PayPal still charged $1

Hi all,

Just tried to link my Revolut (VISA) to PayPal but got the error:

"The billing address you entered is invalid. Please confirm the billing address associated with this card and try again."

The billing address is the same for my PayPal / Revolut account.

I tried this twice, and I see in Revolut app that PayPal charged (successfully) the $1 authorisation charge.

Why is this happening? And I presume the $1 (x 2) will be refunded?

The first name of the PayPal account and the card (Let's say PayPal account is John Smith, Revolut is Peter Smith) - but this wasn't an issue for my other credit card which is linked to my PayPal account for some time now.

Yes, after like 3 tries it worked. Don't asked me how or why, just started working after a few tries (??)

Same happened to me.... fourth attempt it worked

Here are the steps I took:

1. Updated the home address in Revolut
2. Added a new virtual card in Revolut
3. Added the virtual card in PayPal

This worked in the first try.

I also tried adding my physical card, but I was unable to do that.

Ok, so I've faced same problem.

Got here, reading that after few attempts it will work so I've just keep pressing confirmation button and voila after few tries, it is successfully added to my paypal account.

exact same thing worked for me! kept pressing confirm button and on the 5th attempt it worked. alot of .90cent charged later, assuming will be refunded..
