Can't withdraw funds

Hi,

I am having an issue withdrawing funds to my bank account. I verified everything and it kept asking me for and old phone number so I changed the number but now all I get is "We are unable to complete this transaction at this time." I have verified the new phone number via text and my emails say everything is fine but I cannot withdraw anything.

Anyone know anyway around this?

Have you added a bank account (not a debit card) and confirmed it with the 4 digit code?

Does the bank account name match your paypal account name?

Yes I added the bank account and verified this with the 4 digit code too, everything seems to match and seems to be fine so I don't know what is the issue here.

My name on paypal is just Gav, my name on my bank account is Gavin.

I just need to update it on paypal I think.

That may be tricky, you are supposed to enter your legal full name when you open a legal paypal account.

You can 'only' change a name on a paypal account for a 'minor' typo OR for legal reasons ie marriage etc.

I think you may have problems continuing with this paypal account so your best bet is contact customer services for advice.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
