Can't withdraw funds!

Hi everyone, 

 

I have been using paypal for 3 years, I never had troubles with paying for goods, or withdrawing funds to my CC connected account, but as of last week, whenever I want to withdraw funds I get this mesage: "You'll need to add a bank account"

 

Now my wallet already has a CC connected, and I had no troubles in withdrawing money to it because my cc is connected with my bank account, and I am not in the US, so I can't add a US bank account obviously, so I am wondering what is wrong all of a sudden and how can I get this fixed?

It is still there for me Davli. It would appear that the "withdraw funds" under the tab as opposed to the one on the home page has been changed to the older type of withdraw window.This does work for me. I called the helpline though and they were not able to tell me that!!!!. They also agreed that the payment system needed to be repaired. It is now the 24 days broken.

Hope someone from this community could help me, as everyone I talked to from PP can't seem to help me.

 

I was able to withdraw funds to my bank accounts (2 to be exact) during the first 3 times I requested. Problem started when I requested for the 4th time. it's been over 2 weeks now. 

 

I have followed every instructions given to me by all PayPal specialists: I have refrain from any attempts to withdraw within 24 hours. Shutdown and clear browsing history, then logon and attempted to withdraw via secure links PP specialist have provided me with. Even tried installing a different browser. Tried to withdraw from all of my enrolled bank accounts. Tried withdrawing using my Visa cards. None of these work. The page just stare in front of me right after I confirmed my request. Not even a notice informing me that my request failed. I don't know what else to do.

What is your bank name?

How long have you had your PayPal account?

What browsers are you using?  Are they current?  Do they allow all cookes? Is Java scrpt enabled?

What computer operating system?

What type of internet connection?

Does anyone else share the internet connection?

How many times in a 24-hour period have you made an attempt to withdraw?

Did you inititate the withdrawal directly from your PayPal summary page?

 

Did you try from a different computer?

Is there an option from a PayPal Android app?  (I don't have the app so I don't know.)  

 

Since it's a hangup issue, it seems that it would be local system problem.

My problem was fixed on the 3rd of October but the info is as requested below.

 

Based in Ireland

Bank - not relevant as workaround works!!!

Tried several computers and browsers, Mac and PC and different locations. Also 4g on Android.

2 different broadband service providers

Sometimes once over a few days and sometimes several times a day

Direct from main page was where the problem was.

If you read through the thread I was not the only one with the problem!

Land Bank of the Philippines (2x successful withdrawal)

Banco De Oro (1x successful withdrawal)

 

How long have you had your PayPal account?

Since 2010

 

What browsers are you using? Are they current? Do they allow all cookes? Is Java scrpt enabled?

Chrome (made 2 of my 3 withdrawals using this browser; my 4th request didn't work)

IE (made 1 of my 3 withdrawals using this browser; my 4th request didn't work)

Firefox (tried for my 4th as suggested by PP specialist but didn't work)

 

All browsers are up to date with cookies and javascript enabled.

 

What computer operating system?

Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit

 

What type of internet connection?

DSL

 

Does anyone else share the internet connection?

Yes, I have router. My wife share the internet connection.

 

How many times in a 24-hour period have you made an attempt to withdraw?

1 to 2 times in 24 hours since October 1. Have skipped a day or 2 as suggested by PP specialist but nothing happened.

 

Did you inititate the withdrawal directly from your PayPal summary page?

I have. I also tried 2 secured links (old withdrawal page) as provided by PP specialist but nothing worked.

 

Did you try from a different computer?

Yes. I have tried from another laptop at work, as well as from my android device. Nothing works.

 

Is there an option from a PayPal Android app? (I don't have the app so I don't know.)

Yes there is. but it won't allow you, due to high risk it says.

Your reponse shows you have a very good technical handle on the situation.

Nothing seems unusual or suspect.

Is there a possibility that anyhting changed with the banks?  Are they both physical banks?

 

The fact that the system would just hang makes it really difficult to diagnose the problem, like it might be an issue with the connection somewhere between your regional connection and PayPal; since the problem is from 2 different computers using different internet connections.

 

In the U. S. I could talk to a PayPal tecnical specialist to help diagnose problems--a technician who does more than read a script telling to delete cookies, clear cache, or something else generic.

 

Hopefully someone else can help with all of your technical data.

I am in touched with my banks and they confirmed everything is ok on their side, and yes, they're both physical banks.

Actually PP's withdrawal system, I could tell from the page tab that it would try to "process" for a few seconds, then just stop and do nothing. No error or message of any sort.

 

In the U. S. I could talk to a PayPal tecnical specialist...

I had to call PP during my first 3 attempts, and my phone bill reflects the charges from calling them. I had to enroll my phone for unlimited IDD calls. I'm just waiting for it to be effected and Imma call them real soon.

 

Hopefully someone else can help with all of your technical data.

I hope so too bro. I had to deliberately look for a page like this one, coz I really ran out of ways. I tried looking for a facebook page for PP users and merchants but was unsuccessful.

Hello,

I am struggling with withdrawing too. Until last month I was in Belgium, where I had no problems. Now I am in Portugal, but that should not make any difference, I thought? My banc card is a Belgian maestro card. It doesn't do anything when I use the new link (being posted here below). Just keeps the same page. It worked again for your after using this link?
