Can't link bank account

I've deleted a previous paypal account I shared with someone which had my bank account info as it was linked to it so I made a new one without deleting the info of my bank account of my previous account now when I want to link that same bank account to my new one it says it's already linked to a other one the one that has been deleted What to do help

You would have to contact customer services and ask them if they can remove it from your closed account for you.
