Today i wanted to send some money to a friend, let's say 5,50€. I put in the number, and just for **bleep** and giggles I changed the currency to Yen (JPY). Now it would show what i had to pay in € to send 550 Yen (4,68€). After wondering about the exchange rate for a second i switched the currency back to €, and the input field would show 5,50€ again. But when proceeding further, the amount to be send would be 550€! This led to vastly more money being send than intended. Now obviously I was at fault for not checking the amount at a later state and just pressing "proceed", but nevertheless it is a repeatable occurence that might throw off some people, and maybe it would not be as easy to correct the mistake as it was for me, since I knew the recipient.
So maybe it's worth to check out what the root for this might be.
Cheers,
Martin
