Being paid

When will I receive the payment if I’m about to ship something out. Because I don’t want to ship it if there’s a chance I won’t get paid for it.

New sellers have funds held for 21 days, because paypal assumes everyone is a scammer and when they hold money they gain interest. Apparently you can get this removed but i was never able nor willing to put myself through that.

Its rarely 21 days, its when tracking shows as delivered + 1 day.

Secondly as paypal CREDIT you the funds and paypal wait for the buyers payment to transfer then they can't be getting interest on money they have not received yet.

And most businesses are not going to let you have money upfront without a bit of security first ie the new seller hold.

NEVER ship anything until you have been paid.

Even if the funds are pending under the new seller hold they will still SHOW in your paypal balance.

If they are not then it may well be a scam so be careful.
