Bank confirmation

Hi im trying to add my bank account and its sent the penny but on my statement theres no 4 digit code at all. It literally just says PAYPAL

Sometimes the code is not seen on ATM or short statements, you may need to check in with your bank.

in my case paypal charged me but never sent me the code or even return my money. and Paypal does not even have a direct customer service channel.
