Bank account

I made a typing error while linking my bank account, then transfered money to the wrong account. Problem being it's not my account. Basically I gave some stranger my money because of a typo. Not sure how I was able to transfer without confirming the account. Am I out of my money or is there something I can do?

Talk to your bank and they may reach out to the other party for you and request a refund?

You can withdraw funds without confirming but you can't add funds or pay without confirmation.

However it is odd that it transferred if the name on your paypal account and the name on the bank account you transferred the funds to did not match.
