Bank account will not link

I cannot get my new bank account to link to my wallet! Suggestions?

Here are some common issues you might encounter when linking a bank account:

• The bank account must be a bank from your own country.
• The bank account can’t be linked to more than one account at a time.
• The bank account can't be linked if it has already been linked to 3 previous PayPal accounts.
• The name on the bank account must match the name on the PayPal account.

We can confirm accounts from most banks and credit unions. Unfortunately, there are some banks that are not compatible with PayPal, including most online only or prepaid bank accounts.

Thank you for the information. The problem is not one or any of those on the list. Since trying at a later date with no success, I asked my husband to add my account to his PayPal without any issues. So, if the accounts must have the same name then this cannot be true! My own PayPal account and my own bank account have the same name, was never linked to any PayPal accounts etc. However, I do appreciate you taking time to provide me with the below information.
