Bank account checking

Its been 17 days when I linked my bank account on paypal but until now its still on checking.

Isn't it a checking account then? Is it a savings account instead?

It is a savings account. And what I have is a debit card. The status is confirmed but the account is still on checking.

Hi there, we are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience. I want to let you know that the message you see does not mean that it's a checking account or checking anything. 

Since we are a US payment processor, it will always show checking, but the bank account will be registered with the details you have already provided. Do not worry about this.
