Amex connected to other PayPal account but don't know which!
I have set up a PayPal account and tried to connect my Amex. Unfortunately it won't let me as I apparently have it connected to another account. I have closed my previous personal account and as for my business account I do not have any cards attached at present. How can I resolve this issue? Is there a way to find out which account my Amex is already connected to?
Only customer services can help you remove a card from a previously closed account.
Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky. If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country. Live chat is randomly available. You can send them a message. Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter? You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
