Hi @Nmolson,
If you have an actual credit card through Amazon that has Visa or American Express logo, then you can definitely link the card to your PayPal account for purchases, however, PayPal is not accepted as a payment method for use on Amazon currently.

Thanks for the info. I remembered that i did this for previous cards but with a recent card it just takes the $ directly from the card and I'm unable to link PAYPAL. Still feel a bit safer with PAypal though..
