Adding my new bank account

Hi all 

I've recently changed banks from Halifax to First Direct. Paypal is not letting me add first direct to my account - it doesn't say why just ' we're not able to process your request right now' but I've tried loads of times all last week & today. Anyone else having trouble with this? I can't believe they won't accept First Direct when they are part of HSBC!

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

 

It sounds like our system is preventing you from adding the bank as a security matter. Unfortunately, we would not be able to manually change the security settings.

However, you can try clearing your cache and cookies, deleting your browser history and waiting for 48 hours without accessing your account to let the system reset. This may help you solve the issue.
