Adding a bank

I'm having problems adding a bank to my paypal? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Are you adding a bank account or a debit card?
What error message are you getting?
Is the bank account in exactly the same name as your paypal account name?

Is it a UK bank being added to a UK paypal account?

Have you added that bank to any previous paypal accounts?

Does a partner or family member already have that bank account linked to their paypal accounts?

I'm trying to add a bank account to add funds to my paypal , I've had it on this account before but removed it a while ago , its showing a message saying, We're sorry, we're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later

Has it been linked already x3 times to any paypal account?

If so then you would not be able to link it again.
