Adding Bank account to Wallet

Hi, I am in India and when I try to link my bank to my paypal account, a window shows up giving me the option of adding an US bank account. I dont understand. I am a non-resident Indian and my paypal was opened when I was in Republic of Georgia. Now I want to add my Republic of Georgia bank details, but instead i get only the option to add a US bank account which I definitely dont have and dont need.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.

In my case, I can't even find an option to add a bank account in my wallet but only to link a card. I am in Nigeria. Any idea?

You can't add a local bank account / debit card in your country.
You can only link a credit card.

Also the option to receive paypal payments is sadly not available in Nigeria.
You can only send payments for purchases funded by your (confirmed) credit card.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive paypal payments.
