Not possible with actual cash. Link a bank account to PayPal Wallet and then you can select bank account as payment method to buy or send money. Or, to add money to your PayPal account from your bank. But PayPal prefers that you select bank account as payment method when making payment or purchase.
To add money, click Transfer Money under PayPal Balance on the Summary page.
