I jave added 2 different debit cards. One is in my name and the other is in my wife's Will use both to withdraw funds. We have the same surname. Is that ok? Won't my account be closed?

There should be no issue linking a card belonging to a spouse.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
