Österreichisches Bankkonto mit Deutschem Paypal Account möglich?

Dear All,

I am living in two nations. Is it possible to register an Austrian Bank Account with a German Paypal Account? I do not want to open a second Paypal Account. Even if i wanted to I could not because I do not have Austrian email account.

Hi Thomas1237,

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting. 

You can add a bank account from any EU country to your PayPal account as long as the bank account is denominated in Euro. Using the SEPA information you will be able to add your Austrian bank account to your German PayPal account.

Dear Rachael,

thank you for your feedback. In the meantime i called the support, who solved the issue. The System did not accept my austrian bank account and returned with a message referring to technical problems and asking for trying once again later . The problem was "later" never worked. Pushing "F5" was the winner.  Why, though,  is beyond my understanding.
