debit account

hi i've had a few problems with Paypal in the past. i only have a debit card linked to my account, and i just added funds to my account but it said it'll take a week or so to transfer. am i still able to purchase what i transferred the money for while the money is transferring?

You added money to PayPal with your debit card? If I am not mistaken, that is not possible...to extract funds from linked cards to your PayPal balance. Either linked bank account or via third party site. Otherwise, one simply selects linked debit card or other funding source as the payment method during checkout. If funds does end up in your PayPal balance, all is well then. For sure, there has to be funds available in your PayPal balance first before you can spend it.
