So pretty much I went to PayPal:wallet  went to link an Australian bank account asked me for my bank name done BSB of bank, done. But then I type in my 3-17 account number and it says “Hm, that doesn’t seem right.”

I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to link the bank account that you would like to use with PayPal. If you've double-checked all the numbers and it's still giving error messages, please contact customer service for further troubleshooting and assistance.
