If you do you may well negate your buyer protection.
The seller wants you to do so because it means release of their held funds more quickly HOWEVER any funds on hold is between the seller and paypal and nothing to do with you. You can help them by confirming receipt ONCE YOU RECIEVE THE GOODS AND ARE HAPPY WITH THEM but not before.
