Refund fees

I requested $2.00 my friends owes me but I didn't know it would take out fees if I refund the payment will it give him the full $2 back or would it take money out of my account to cover fees to make it $2

The sender will receive a full refund if the payment was sent either as a Friends & Family payment or a Goods & Services payment.

If the payment was sent as a Goods & Service payment and is refunded, the account that received the payment will be charged the fixed fee. All seller fees besides the fixed fee will be refunded. The fixed fee is $0.30 for US Dollars.

PayPal Venmo may be a another option for you. All Venmo payments are no fee if they are funded with either a bank account or a debit card. Venmo is available in the US only and is meant for non goods and services payments between people who know each other.
