Payment on hold

My friend sent me money from Dubai and it is written pending and on hold. What does it means? I cannt receive money?

Hi Anichka, 

Pending and hold status means that we're currently reviewing the transactions. Paypal ensure that all our customers' transactions are secure.  Just as soon as we're done reviewing the transaction money should be released. You can also advise your friend to confirm receipt of transaction from her end by logging in to her PayPal account.

Here's how to confirm the transaction

1. Click Activity at the top of the page.
2. Find and click the transaction.
3. Click Confirm receipt.
4. Click Yes to confirm.
