Paypal says the test deposits I re-entered were wrong / no they aren't. I checked them 2 x's and entered them correctly. Then Paypal closed the bank access to that account. What do I do? the contact us link is a joke as folks here must know.

Advice welcome. Buy a rocket launcher? 😉

Did you request the deposits more than once? if you did then it would have to be the last set that you enter as previous ones are nullified when you request the code again.

If not then you would have to request customer services to add it for you, but they would request you to upload a bank statement to prove ownership of the account first as the code system failed.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

OR
have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
