A friend sent me 50 bucks. It is pending and on hold, because something about being a "new seller" but I'm not a seller. I don't sell or buy anything with paypal. I never have. I have had my acct for awhile, and use it daily. Never had any transaction ever be put on hold or pending, and have never been charged a fee when someone sent me money? What do I do to fix this? Its says something about shipping and verifying the orders fulfilled, but thereisnt anything to ship or buy or sell?? I needed this money to feed my kids tonight! That's why they sent it to me.

Its down to how the payment was SENT to your account.

1. If they sent using money > goods / services option then paypal would see you as a seller and apply the new seller hold. They would also charge you a fee.

2. If they had sent using the send money > family / friends option then you would have had the payment instantly with no fee.
